LEGAL SERVICES PROPOSAL <br />The law firm of Newquist & Herrick Law Offices, P.C. is submitting this proposal <br />for the City Attorney and City Prosecutor position for the City of Lino Lakes. <br />FIRM BACKGROUND <br />The law firm of Newquist and Ekstrum, Chartered was founded in 1986. At the <br />time, Mr. Newquist and Mr. Ekstrum were partners with and operated the Anoka <br />County branch office of Smith Juster, Feikema, Malmon & Haskvitz. The Smith <br />Juster firm began in the 1930's when Wyman Smith (an attorney with a long <br />presence in Anoka County as a Municipal Attorney) joined with Doug Hall and <br />Tom Forsberg (the retired Appellate Court Judge). The firm name was changed <br />when Gregg Herrick joined the firm in 2006 and when Mr. Ekstrum was appointed <br />to the bench. <br />Firm Attorneys <br />Carl J. Newquist, Partner <br />Gregg V. Ms. Gun <br />prepares complaints and other documents for prosecution cases. <br />Joyce Zumberge, 33 years experience as a legal secretary /paralegal working in the <br />areas of municipal, litigation, construction, real estate, probate, family and general <br />practice. <br />
