Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 08 -97 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE ERA MUSKE CO. COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOUNDATION, PATRIOT BANK, ROBERT MUELLER INSURANCE AGENCY, HOP -KAR INC. /CARBONE'S RISTORANTE & BAR, AMERICAN LEGION POST 566, AND DOUBLE EWE YARN SHOP FOR THE LINO LAKES POLICE EXPLORERS. WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Explorers train to compete in State and National competitions against other Explorer Posts; and the Lino Lakes Police Explorers volunteer their time and services to the Lino Lakes community and surrounding communities throughout the year; and WHEREAS, the ERA Muske Co. Community Support Foundation donated $250, Patriot Bank donated $250, Robert Mueller Insurance Agency donated $30, Hop -Kar Inc. /Carbone's Ristorante & Bar donated $50, American Legion Post 566 donated $100, and Double Ewe Yarn Shop donated $50 to be used to assist in sending the Explorers to the State and National competitions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council members, do hereby accept the donation of $730.00 and wishes to express its gratitude to the ERA Muske Co. Community Support Foundation, Patriot Bank, Robert Mueller Insurance Agency, Hop -Kar Inc. /Carbone's Ristorante & Bar, American Legion Post 566, and Double Ewe Yam Shop for the donation. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: The following voted against same: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
