WS — Item 7 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item #7 <br />Date: October 6, 2008 <br />To: City Council <br />From: Julie Bartell <br />Re: Liquor Compliance Hearing <br />Background <br />The Police Department has recently conducted compliance checks on licensed liquor <br />establishments in Lino Lakes and is now requesting that a hearing be established to <br />consider penalties for non - compliance. <br />The council has traditionally held this hearing as a separate meeting, usually previous to a <br />regularly scheduled council meeting. <br />There will be one establishment considered at the upcoming hearing. It is recommended <br />that a hearing be set for 6:15 p.m. on October 27, 2008, after that evening's work session <br />and previous to the council meeting at 6:30 p.m. <br />Requested Council Direction <br />Staff requests council direction on scheduling the liquor compliance hearing. <br />1 <br />
