Schumacher, City Administrator <br />SUBJECT: 1984 Budget <br />Enclosed herein is the 1984 City of Lino Lakes Budget for the General <br />Fund, Dedicated Park Fund, Capital Improvement Fund and Sewer and Water <br />Fund. Also included are Summary of Activities Statements for the <br />Community Development Block Grant Fund, LAWCON Grant Fund, Minnesota <br />Housing Revenue Bond Fund and Interest Fund as well as Summary <br />of Activities Statements for all Assessment Bond Funds. <br />The Budget reflects City Council decisions made after the City Auditor <br />presented his views on the trends in the State Legislature and since <br />the Council reviewed the City Administrators draft Budget in September, <br />1983. The Council reviewed the Budget on several occassions and adopted <br />the Budget on December 27, 1984. <br />During 1983 construction of an addition to City Hall began. This <br />addition will house a Senior Center and new council chamber.. The <br />1984 Budget reflects expenditures to complete the council chamber. <br />The Senior Center is being financed by Community Development Block Grants. <br />Some key principals on which the operational budget has been developed <br />include: <br />...Provide basic services which are financed at adequate levels. <br />...Estimate revenues at realistic levels. <br />... Maintain and enhance the quality of life in Lino Lakes through a broad mix of <br />services. <br />
