Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08 -139 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING $50 DONATION FROM RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE <br />GROUP'S "REFER A FRIEND, BUILD YOUR COMMUNITY" PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, The Residential Mortgage Group (RMG) has a charitable donation <br />program called "Refer a friend, Build your community" where a donation can be made <br />to organizations in a resident's community on behalf of the resident and Robert <br />Pomerleau, a Lino Lakes resident, participated in this program with RMG and has <br />selected the Lino Lakes Police Department as the recipient of a $50 donation; <br />WHEREAS, The Residential Mortgage Group supports the efforts of strengthening our <br />community and families, the donation of $50 will be beneficial in support of the Lino <br />Lakes Police Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the Police Department General Fund <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council members, do <br />hereby accept the donation of $50 and expresses its gratitude to RMG and Robert <br />Pomerleau for the donation. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 24th day of November, 2008. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />• <br />• <br />
