City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota <br />Management Report, Page 44 <br />FEDERAL SINGLE AUDIT <br />Federal regulations require a City to obtain a federal compliance audit if the City receives over <br />— <br />$25,000 in federal funds. During 1995, the City of Lino Lakes received $72,452 of federal funds <br />as follows: <br />WWI <br />Grant <br />Amount <br />COPS FAST $ 19,892 <br />Safe and Sober Campaign - Communities 4,696 <br />Operation Buckle Down 630 <br />Oak Wilt Cooperative Suppression Program 3,380 <br />CDBG 43,854 <br />Total $72,452 <br />We have completed the federal compliance audit as required and issued our reports under a <br />separate cover. The finding identified in the report are summarized below: <br />The Lino Lakes Police Department has a drug testing program and has a written policy <br />and procedures for a drug -free workplace. These policies, however, have not been <br />formally adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council and were not effective until January 1, <br />1996, the Federal grant period started March 1, 1995. <br />
