Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08 -144 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 06 -213 SETTING THE GENERAL <br />TIMELINE FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE FIVE -YEAR FINANCIAL PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a timeline for the preparation, submission and <br />annual adoption of the five -year financial plan with Resolution No. 06 -213, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, such resolution states that the plan shall be adopted by the end of <br />December, and <br />WHEREAS, information necessary to complete and adopt the plan within this <br />timeframe is often unavailable until after the first of the ensuing year, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to have all necessary information available prior to <br />adopting the annual update of the five -year financial plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Lino Lakes City Council that the <br />timeline for adopting the five -year financial plan is hereby amended as follows: <br />1) The five -year plan shall be adopted by the City Council following a public hearing, <br />along with any revisions arising therefrom, by the end of the first quarter each <br />year. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8th day of December 2008. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
