INIMM <br />lomm <br />Now <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council <br />City of Link Lakes <br />Page 13 <br />General Fund — Fund Balance <br />The City's December 31, 1998 fund balance totaled $3,411,332. Fund balances of the General Fund <br />have kept pace with the expenditures in the General Fund as they have increased in each of the past <br />ten years. The percent of expenditures in fund balance shows the relationship of fund balance to the <br />total expenditures in the General Fund. The reason for the drop in the 1998 percentage is the total <br />general fund expenditures increased because of the storm clean up.
