City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota <br />Management Report, Page 8 <br />— <br />— The above Statute allowed for one year (1989 revenue year) in which the equalized market <br />values were adjusted by no greater than a 92% sales ratio. <br />MEM <br />The 1990 aid calculations reflect the full sales ratio adjustment. For the City of Lino Lakes this <br />resulted in the 56% adjustment in tax capacity values as reflected above. Cities with high sales <br />-" ratio percentages were not as severely affected by this legislation. High population areas with <br />strong markets for property sales had the greatest potential for adjustment. This statutory <br />— provision reduced the aid to the City of Lino Lakes by over $23,000. Additionally, this is an LGA <br />base adjustment that will likely impact future years' aid as well. <br />
