The City II <br />has taken action to close this fund in 1984 to the Capital Project Fund (1981 Certifi- <br />cates of Indebtedness). <br />Capital Project Funds <br />The financial statements for the City's Capital Project Funds are presented in <br />Statements 12 and 13 of the 1983 Annual Financial Report. A Capital Project Fund is a <br />classification of funds to account for receipts and disbursement of monies used for <br />acquisition and construction of capital facilities other than those financed by special <br />assessment funds. The fund balance of <br />$105,457 at December 31, 1983 is available for expenditures by the City to fund capital ■ <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />outlay and maintenance of dedicated park lands. <br />The City normally collects park dedication fees upon sub - division. The City has <br />made exceptions for several developers to allow for payment upon development (as opposed <br />to subdivision).
