AGENCY FUNDS <br />Agency Funds are used to account for assets held by the City as an agent for individuals, private <br />organizations, other governments and/or other funds. The City maintained the following Agency <br />Funds during the year: <br />Contractors Deposits - to account for pass - through costs relating to prospective <br />developers. <br />Pending Assessment Deposits - to account for prepayment of special assessments by <br />developers prior to Council adoption. <br />Investment Fund - to account for the pooling of investments of the City. <br />Deferred Compensation - to account for employee contributions to the City authorized <br />deferred compensation plan.
