Population, Number of Police Employees, and Crime Rate <br />The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension collects data regarding number of police employees in <br />relation to population. For 2007, the last year statistics are available, the Lino Lakes Police De- <br />partment had 28 employees for a population of 19,554. The following table compares the num- <br />ber of employees to population of cities in our data group.
