Elections <br />The Election Department is responsible for conducting elections in accordance with <br />Federal, State and local laws under the guidance of the City Clerk. New ballot scanners will be <br />required in three precincts for 2006 and have been included in the budget at a total cost <br />of $18,000. <br />
