Lino Lakes - Shoreland and Flood Plain Management <br />(c) Private and public recreational uses such as golf courses, tennis courts, driving <br />ranges, archery ranges, picnic grounds, swimming areas, parks, wildlife and nature preserves, <br />game farms, fish hatcheries, shooting preserves, target ranges, trap and skeet ranges, hunting <br />and fishing areas, and single- or multiple - purpose recreational trails. <br />(d) Residential accessory uses such as lawns, gardens, parking areas and play areas <br />as long as no permanent structures are constructed. <br />(e) Boat launching ramps and docks on riparian lots accessory to a permitted principal <br />use. <br />(2) Conditional uses. The following use and structures may be permitted in the Flood Plain <br />Overlay District only after the issuance of a conditional use permit, as provided for in § <br />1103.04(8) of this chapter. These uses shall be permitted within the Flood Plain Overlay District <br />to the extent that they are allowed in the underlying base zoning district, they are not prohibited <br />by any other ordinance, and they comply with the provisions of § 1103.07, which applies to all <br />Flood Plain Overlay District conditional uses. <br />(a) Principal residential, commercial, and industrial structures. <br />(b) Accessory structures. <br />(c) Placement of fill. Cumulative placement of fill in excess of 1,000 cubic yards or in <br />excess of requirements outlined in § 1007.051 of the City's Zoning Chapter, whichever is less. <br />(d) Railroads, streets, bridges, utility transmission lines and pipelines. <br />(e) Extraction and storage of sand, gravel and other materials. <br />(f) Marinas, boat rentals, docks, piers, wharves and water control structures, <br />(g) Storage yards for equipment, machinery or materials. <br />(h) Travel trailers and travel vehicles either on individual lots of record or in existing or <br />new subdivisions or commercial or condominium type campgrounds, subject to the exemptions <br />and provisions of § 1103.09(4). <br />(i) Structural works for flood control such as levees, dikes and floodwalls constructed to <br />any height where the intent is to protect individual structures and levees or dikes where the intent <br />is to protect agricultural crops for a frequency flood event equal to or less than the 10 -year <br />frequency flood event. <br />(3) Prohibited uses. All other uses or structures not listed as permitted or conditional uses <br />in the Flood Plain Overlay District shall be prohibited. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
