Council Member introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09-28 <br />APPROVING APPLICATION FOR A TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE, <br />CABARET LICENSE AND AN EXEMPTION FOR GAMBLING PERMIT FOR <br />THE ANNUAL ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH <br />AUGUST FESTIVAL <br />WHEREAS, St. Joseph's Catholic Church has made application for a temporary <br />on -sale liquor license, a cabaret license and an exemption for lawful gambling <br />permit for their annual August Festival to be held August 8th and 9th 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a <br />background investigation of the applicants; and <br />WHEREAS, St. Joseph's Catholic Church has paid the required license fees and <br />is in compliance with city ordinance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the City Council hereby approves a temporary on -sale liquor license, a <br />cabaret license and an application for exemption for gambling permit for the 2009 <br />St. Joseph's Catholic Church August Festival. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of May, 2009. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
