21A-6 <br />Failure of an employee to retum to work upon the expiration of all eligible leaves of <br />absence covered in these rules, shall be cause for discipline, up to and including <br />separation from employment If the absence continues for three or more days without <br />permission, the City may deem an employee to have voluntarily resigned. <br />Coordination with Other Leave Provisions <br />If an employee has eligibility for Family Medical Leave (Section 6.12), Military Family <br />Leave (Section 6.12A), Funeral Leave (Section 6.7), or any other leave as provided for <br />in this policy manual, this leave shall also count towards the leave time available per the <br />provisions of those policies. The leaves will run concurrently with some exceptions as <br />provided for in the applicable policy provisions, until eligibility for any of the leaves <br />expire. <br />June /20/09 Issued <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
