Proposed budget <br />distributed to City Council. <br />IMO <br />• August 1 - 31 — Budget work sessions - City Council reviews proposed 2010 <br />Budget. <br />• September 1 — Dept. of Revenue certifies 2010 levy limit <br />• September 8 — Follow -up City Council budget work session. <br />• September 14 — City Council approves proposed 2010 Budget and Tax Levy <br />and sets Truth in Taxation hearing dates. <br />• By September 15 - Proposed Budget, Tax Levy and Truth in Taxation hearing <br />dates are certified to Anoka County Auditor. <br />Mid - November— County mails Truth in Taxation notices to taxpayers. <br />• December 7 — City Council holds Truth in Taxation Hearing. <br />• December 14 — City Council holds Continuation Hearing, if necessary. City <br />Council adopts final 2010 Budget and Tax Levy at Subsequent Hearing. <br />• By December 28 — City certifies final 2010 Budget and Tax Levy to Anoka <br />County Auditor. <br />
