The Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance allows private lodges and clubs as conditional uses in the
Limited Business and General Business zoning districts.
3. The Religious Land Use and Institutionalised Persons Act of 2000, known by the acronym
RLUIPA, requires a city to treat religious uses such as churches the same as the city treats
other similar uses. Lodges and clubs are similar to public, educational, and religious uses in
their activities and potential impacts.
4. The proposed action has been considered in relation to the specific policies and
provisions of and has been found to be consistent with the official City Comprehensive
Plan.
2.
