When the audit was presented to the council, Attorney Dougherty remarked, <br />regarding the area of data practice, that the charter commission has the same <br />obligation as the city to appoint a responsible authority and follow data practice <br />law. It is a policy issue who will take on the responsibility and it should be <br />undertaken only with established guidelines and procedures for data practices. <br />4. How do we communicate to residents about the Charter Commission and <br />how the city charter works. <br />From time to time the city has invited representatives of the League of Minnesota <br />Cities come out and lead discussions designed to assist in this area.
