CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09 -65 <br />APPROVING ISSUANCE OF OFF -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />AND TOBACCO LICENSE <br />FOR J & K LIQUOR <br />(TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP) <br />WHEREAS, the city has been informed that J & K Liquors, located at 6013 <br />Hodgson Road, will come under new ownership; and <br />WHEREAS, the transfer of an intoxicating liquor license can only be <br />accomplished by application for a new license; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Sisouk Vang has applied for an off -sale and tobacco license for <br />a business to be known as C's J & K Liquor; and <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Lino Lakes has conducted the <br />required background investigation of the applicant and reports no reason to deny <br />the licensing request, and; <br />WHEREAS, the license requested is in compliance with City Code Section 701 <br />regarding Liquor Licensing; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has provided proof of insurance as required and paid <br />the license fees; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes hereby approves an off -sale liquor and tobacco license for C's J & K <br />Liquors, subject to all the fees, provisions and conditions of the laws of the city, <br />state and of the federal government.
