Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09-70 <br />APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES <br />FOR NOVEMBER 3, 2009 MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br />• <br />the Lino Lakes City Council met at its regularly scheduled meeting of September 28, 2009; and <br />a Municipal Election will be held on November 3, 2009; and <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.20, election judges shall be appointed to serve in an election <br />precinct and the appointing authority shall designate one of the judges to serve as the head <br />election judge; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, a roster of trained certified judges was prepared from <br />lists of eligible voters provided by the major political parties and from previous rosters; and <br />WHEREAS, the appointments shall be made at least 25 days before the election at which the election judge <br />will serve. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the named persons on the attached list of certified eligible <br />voters are hereby appointed to serve as election judges and head election judges for the 2009 Municipal <br />Election if called upon to do so. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of September, 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />John J.
