• The only way to go live would be through complex cabling to main system <br />• Technician costs would be $12.00 hr (3 hour minimum). We have not contacted Reed to <br />see if he is available — going live and ending the broadcast would mean a trip back to the <br />council chambers edit suite. <br />• Producing a meeting with audio only is not an option; the cable company cannot <br />accommodate; also charter amendment contains the word "televised" <br />• If not done by live feed, staff would have to deliver recordings to the cable station after <br />each meeting <br />City efforts at transparency to date: <br />• The meetings are regularly scheduled in the same location <br />• Meeting notices and agendas are posted at city hall and on the city's web site <br />• The meetings are open to the public <br />• The press is in regular attendance <br />• Agendas and packets are emailed regularly to a permanent list and to anyone who is <br />interested in a specific item <br />• Minutes are taken and distributed <br />• Digital audio recordings are made and copies can be made for any interested party <br />
