• <br />AGENDA ITEM 3A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Daniel Tesch, Director of Administration <br />MEETING DATE: 14 December 2009 <br />TOPIC: 2010 Centennial Fire District Budget <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />As part of the Centennial Fire District, the city needs to approve the district's annual <br />budget. Chief Streich presented this budget to the city council back in September. The <br />Fire District Steering Committee (comprised of 2 council members from each city), as <br />well as Circle Pines and Centerville has approved the 2010 budget. Lino Lakes portion <br />Illof the budget is $585,645.00 <br />The key driver's for the 2010 budget are to provide compliant safety equipment and <br />health screening for our firefighters, increase daytime emergency response personnel, <br />and become compliant with state OSHA and FLSA rules. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve the 2010 Centennial Fire District Budget <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />The budget. <br />• <br />
