D. <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Bob Kirmis (NAC) <br />P AND Z MEETING DATE: May 8, 2002 <br />TOPIC: Raske Building Systems - Minor Subdivision and <br />Site & Building Plan Review <br />BACKGROUND <br />Raske Building Systems Inc. has requested site and building plan approval to allow the <br />construction of a 25,568 square foot office /warehouse facility on the property located south of <br />Apollo Road and east of Jon Avenue. <br />The building will be occupied by Hillyard Inc., a manufacturer of cleaning supplies. <br />In conjunction with the request for site and building plan approval, the applicants have also <br />requested approval of a minor subdivision to allow the subdivision of a 6.6 acre parcel of land <br />(presently described as Parcel E, Apollo Business Park) into 4.5 and 2.1 acre parcels. The <br />proposed office /warehouse building would occupy the 2.1 acre parcel. <br />This application was originally submitted in the Fall of last year but was withdrawn prior to <br />consideration by the Planning and Zoning Board. <br />This review is based on the following plan submittals: <br />Sketch and Description Plan dated 4/8/02 <br />Site Plan dated 4/4/02 <br />Landscape Plan dated 3/27/02 <br />Preliminary Erosion and Grading Plan dated 4/4/02 <br />Preliminary Utility Plan dated 4/4/02 <br />Floor Plan and Building Elevations dated 4/4/02 <br />Lighting Plan dated 4/23/02 <br />Environmental Board Comments dated 4/30/02 <br />City Engineer memo dated 5/2/02 <br />
