• <br />• <br />Planning & Zoning Board <br />May 8, 2002 <br />Page 14 <br />Mr. Corson made a MOTION to approve a minor subdivision to allow the subdivision of <br />a 6.6 acre parcel of land (presently described as Parcel E, Apollo Business Park) into 4.5 <br />and 2.1 acre parcels subject to the conditions as outlined in staff's May 8, 2002 report. <br />The motion was supported by Ms. Lane. <br />Motion carried 4 -0. <br />Mr. Corson made a MOTION to approve the Site and Building Plan Review subject to <br />the 15 conditions as outlined in staff's May 8, 2002 report and as requested by Board <br />members at tonight's meeting. <br />The motion was supported by Mr. Rafferty. <br />Motion carried 4 -0. <br />E. PUBLIC HEARING — Glenn Rehbein, Vil1aee.Hill <br />Ware Rd., Rezone to PDO and Site Plan Review <br />Chair Schaps opened the public hearingt <br />NW corner of Birch St. and <br />Staff explained Glenn Rehbein Companies h d submitted an application for Site and <br />Building Plan Review and Rezoning to alloy` the development of a neighborhood <br />business center at the northwest corner of Ware Rd. and Birch St. <br />Staff noted the projee was scheduled far;apublic hearing at the May 8, 2002 Planning <br />and Zoning Board Meefiing. However, d e to recent modifications to the site, the <br />developer hadirequested the review of the proposed development be postponed until the <br />June 12, 200 Planning and Zoning Board Meeting. <br />Staff stated no action as necessary at this time. However, public hearing notices were <br />previously distribute <br />Staff noted that a letter hadlbeen received with comments and was to be entered into the <br />record. Brian and Katie Politiske, 6509 Hokah Drive, by letter dated May 1, 2002, <br />indicated they were opposed to the rezoning of this property for the reason that they did <br />not believe there was enough room to squeeze a strip mall into a residential area where it <br />would negatively impact their quality of life and property values. They expressed <br />concern about the lights in the parking lot, increased traffic, noise, and the view from <br />their property. <br />Chair Schaps asked if anyone from the public wished to speak. Nobody responded. <br />• Ms. Lane made a MOTION to continue the Public Hearing to June, 2002 Planning & <br />Zoning Board meeting and was supported by Mr. Corson. <br />Motion carried 4 -0. <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />
