ENVIRONMENTAL BOARD MEETINGJULY 30, 2003 <br />1 APPROVED MINUTES <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />DATE: July 30, 2003 <br />TIME STARTED: 6:40 P.M. <br />TIME ENDED: 11:10 P.M. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Constance Grundhofer, Rod Kukonen, Teresa <br />O’Connell, and Mary Jo O’Dea <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Amy Donlin, Patrice Toler Halen, and Nikki <br />Schneider <br />STAFF PRESENT: Environmental Coordinator Marty Asleson <br />and Community Development Director Michael <br />Grochala <br />1.CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Kukonen called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. <br />2.APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />June 25, 2003 <br />Page 2, third paragraph: “Asleson stated that the City wanted to begin the <br />document review process and introduced Jim Jacques from TKDA. Jim Jacques <br />was present to answer questions and listen to comments.” <br />Page 2, fourth paragraph: “Mr. Jacques responded that it could be more specific <br />with commercial users or more generic to educate the citizenry.” <br />Page 3, third paragraph: “She had witnessed in other cities it entering the storm <br />sewer system as a regular practice.” <br />Page 6, first paragraph: “O’Dea asked if there were any Amur Maple trees on <br />site.” <br />Page 6, thirteenth paragraph: “Chair Kukonen referred to the number of stalls <br />being 492, and suggested they could make some of the parking pervious.” <br />Page 7, fourteenth paragraph: “Chair Kukonen suggested that they strictly follow <br />the City requirements on lighting.” <br />Page 13, fourth paragraph: “Asleson responded that letters were going to be sent <br />out because grass clippings and deposited materials were found next to the sign.” <br />O’Dea moved to approve the June 25, 2003 meeting minutes. O’Connell <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />July 9, 2003 <br />Page 5, fifth paragraph: “Chair Kukonen noted he saw the site as an affected <br />resident would.” <br />Page 8, seventh paragraph: “Asleson stated that even if they were not used, that <br />they had to be listed.”
