ENVIRONMENTAL BOARD MEETING MAY 28, 2008 <br />Ms. Bor questioned if this plan would impact the lakes by 2030. Mr. <br />Naber stated certain shifts of the plan can be noticeable in a matter of <br />years <br /> <br />Mr. Naber stated the Resource Management Units took a look from <br />nutrient loading from a 1 year storm and a 100 year storm. <br /> <br />A city that is fully developed does not want to lose wetland functions. <br /> <br />HOW IT WORKS: <br /> <br />RMP – Based Permitting Sequence – Developing Parcel <br /> <br />RMP - will provide use of landscape level information. <br />Wetland preservation corridor WCA – CWMP 404-ADID <br />Stormwater Management Areas – Capacity needs – TMDL Standards. <br /> <br />Next stage – collection of site specific data -wetland delineation – <br />functional assessment – soil borings – T & E Survey. <br /> <br />Applying the Rule to define the actual WPC Boundary – RMP Rule <br />Defined WPC Boundary and Delineated Wetland Boundaries. <br /> <br />Ms. O’Dea asked for an explanation regarding the process of delineation. <br />Mr. Naber stated this is done at a remote scale and basically is done by <br />soil mapping and vegetation and then some ground checking.
