ENVIRONMENTALBOARDMEETINGJUNE24,2008 <br />DRAFTMINUTES2 <br />Mr.AslesonpresentedhisstaffreportonExpenditureReviewandYearlyWork <br />PlanforFoxboroughDevelopment.Hepresentedthebackground,analysisand <br />hisrecommendation. <br />Mr.AslesonthenpresentedJasonHusveth,CriticalConnectionsEcological <br />Services,Inc.’sRestorationandManagementPlanfor2009/2010. <br />Mr.Aslesonstatediftheboardisinagreement,thereisaneedtowritea <br />resolutionapprovingtheproposedworkplanonthisproject. <br />Mr.BrownmadearecommendationtosupportthetasksoutlinedintheCritical <br />Connections,FoxboroughRestorationandManagementPlanfor2009/2010and <br />forstafftoprepareaResolutionandpresentittotheCityCouncil.Ms.DeHaven <br />secondedtherecommendation.Recommendationcarriedunanimously. <br />6.DISCUSSIONITEMS <br />A.BlueHeronDaysParade–GarbagePickUp <br />ItwasnotedthattheupcomingBlueHeronDaysparadewillbeheldonAugust <br />22.Boardmembersreviewedpastrecommendationstobetterimprovevisibility <br />ofthegroupattheparade.Membersrequestedtohaveabannermadetohangon <br />thePolarisRangerATV. <br />B.AgendaDiscussion.Mr.AslesonaddressedMs.Bor’semailofhowthe <br />board’sagendaisputtogether.Shealsoquestionedifanyofthemembersseethis <br />agendabeforeitissentout.Hestatedotherboardsarecancellingmeetingsdueto <br />lackofdevelopment/review.Hestatedtherehasnotbeenasubdivision <br />applicationsincelastyear.Hestatedmembersarewelcometocalloremailhimif <br />theyhaveanitemtoputontheagenda.Mr.Aslesonstatedhewouldappreciate <br />this. <br />Ms.O’Deamentionedthatifanyboardmembersknowofanyonewhomaybe <br />interestedinapplyingforapositionontheEnvironmentalBoardlettheCityknow <br />astherearecurrentlytwopositionsopen. <br />C.EagleScoutProject.Mr.AslesonstatedthereiscurrentlyanewEagle <br />Scoutprojectunderwayatthemiddleschool.HestatedtheEagleScouthasraised <br />allthemoneyforseedneeded.Hestatedthesitewillbereadyfortheseedina <br />fewweeks.Hementionedthatthissitecouldbeonetovisitbeforethenext <br />meeting. <br />D.LeakyLoadLaw.Ms.DeHavenstatedifagarbagetruckisspottedwith <br />garbagecomingoutthetopoftheirvehicletocalltheCity,thegarbagecompany <br />andSheriff’sDepartment.Thehaulerwillbeheldresponsibletopickupanything <br />thatcomesoutoftheirtrucksundertheLeakyLoadLaw.
