F
Memo
To: Katie Larsen
From: Marty Asleson
Date: June 5, 2014
Re: Final Plat Saddle Club Recommendations
Environmental
I have the following comments concerning the Final Plat for Saddle Club:
1. As recommended by the Environmental Board in the Preliminary Plat review of Saddle
Club, the top soils in graded buffer areas must be stockpiled and returned as close as possible
to areas where they were removed.
2. A buffer area topsoil stockpile area should be located on the map.
3. There should be some language in agreements making the removal and replacement of the
preexisting top soils mandatory. These top soils must not be stockpiled with removed reed
canary grass excavations.
4. The required Conservation Easement should be to the City of Lino Lakes.
5. Environmental Educational literature should be developed concerning the buffer and outlot
areas and given to new homeowners before closing on properties. This literature must be
approved by the City.
6. Conservation area signage must be in before building occurs. Signs must be approved by
the City of Lino Lakes.
0 Page 1
