Attention shall be given to <br />the possible number of tenant or occupancy bays which may be served by the common public <br />entrance for which the directory sign is intended. <br />(12)Dynamic display signs, whether permanent or temporary, are prohibited in all zoning <br />districts except those with a dynamic display area that is less than 20 square feet. <br />(13) Street addresses required to comply with address ordinances or building codes do <br />not require a sign permit. <br />(14) Flags <br />(a) Flags symbolizing a government or political subdivision, or a branch or department <br />of a government or political subdivision, which comply with the following standards are <br />permitted <br />i. No more than three (3) flags ,greater than one (1) square foot in area shall be <br />allowed on one property. <br />ii.Notwithstanding the provisions of this section any number of flags of any size <br />may be placed on a property during a federally recognized holiday. Said flags <br />shall be displayed no sooner than seven (7) prior to said holiday and removed <br />with seven (7) days following the holiday. <br />ALTERNATIVE LANGUAGE. <br />Flags symbolizing government or political subdivision, or a branch or department of <br />government or political subdivision, are not regulated by this chapter. <br />(b) Each lot may one flag that is not a symbol of a government or political <br />subdivision, or a branch or department of a government or political subdivision, and that <br />is on a flagpole that is permanently mounted in the ground or mounted on a building. <br />More than one non -government flag shall be regulated as permanent sing_ <br />age. <br />-(c) Display of a flag(s) does not require a sign permit. <br />(20(15) P.U.D. zoning districts; permanent and temporary signs are regulated according to <br />the standards for the corresponding land use and zoning cagtegory as stated in this chapter.
