Bay. A part of a building projecting or cantilevered from the main part. Bluff. A topographic feature such as a hill, cliff, or embankment having the following characteristics: 1. Part of all of the feature is located in a shoreland area. 2. The slope rises at least twenty -five (25) feet above the ordinary high water level of the water body. 3. The grade of the slope from the toe of the bluff to a point twenty -five (25) feet or more above the ordinary high water level averages thirty (30) percent or greater. 4. The slope must drain toward the water body. Bluff Impact Zone. A bluff and land located within twenty (20) feet from the top of a bluff. Bluff, Toe Of: The lower point of a fifty (50) foot segment with an average slope exceeding eighteen (18) percent. Bluff, Top Of: The highest point of a fifty (50) foot segment with an average slope exceeding eighteen (18) percent. Boarder. An individual other than a member of the family occupying the dwelling unit or a part thereof who, for a consideration, is furnished sleeping accommodations and may be furnished meals or other services as part of the consideration. Boarding House. A building other than a hotel where, for compensation and by pre- arrangement for definite periods, meals, or lodging and meals are provided to three (3) or more persons, not of the principal family therein, pursuant to previous Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance Title / Application / Rules 1 -13
