Open Sales Lot. Any open land used or occupied for the purpose of buying, <br />• selling, and /or renting merchandise and for the storing of the same prior to sale. <br />• <br />• <br />Open Space. Any parcel or area of land or water essentially unimproved and set <br />aside, dedicated, designated or reserved for public or private use or enjoyment, <br />or for the use and enjoyment of owners and occupants of land adjoining or <br />neighboring such open space. <br />Open Space, Private. Common open space held in private ownership, the use <br />of which is normally limited to the occupants of a single dwelling or building. <br />Open Space, Public. Open space owned by a public agency and maintained by <br />it for the use and enjoyment of the general public. <br />Ordinary High Water Level. (OHWL) The boundary of public waters and <br />wetlands as determined by the Minnesota Dept. of Natural Resources: an <br />elevation delineating the highest water level which has been maintained for a <br />sufficient period of time to leave evidence upon the landscape, commonly that <br />point where the natural vegetation changes from predominantly aquatic to <br />predominantly terrestrial. <br />Outdoor Storage. See "exterior storage." <br />Parcel. A separate-area-of-land, frIcklding A tot; -k au+eg- speoifis- beuecfarios -and <br />capable of being conveyed and rccordod.A contiguous tract or area of land <br />established by plat, subdivision, or as otherwise permitted by law, that has one <br />legal description and parcel identification number recorded with the Anoka <br />County Property Records Department. Also referred to as a "lot" or "lot of <br />record." <br />Park, Private. A tract of land presently owned or controlled and used by private <br />or semi - public persons, entities, groups, etc. for active and /or passive <br />recreational purposes. <br />Park, Public. A tract of land publicly owned and used by the public for active <br />and /or passive recreational purposes. <br />Parking Lot. An off - street, ground level area, usually surfaced and improved, for <br />the temporary storage of motor vehicles. <br />Parking Space. A space for the parking of a motor vehicle within a public or <br />private parking area. <br />Party Wall.
