Planning & Zoning Board <br />May 14, 2003 <br />Page 10 <br />• Mr. Lyden stated he would support a Comprehensive Plan Amendment for R -1X. Mr. <br />Goertz replied it made no difference to him, but the Council was not receptive to this. <br />Mr. Lyden asked what were they getting if they granted the PUD. Mr. Smyser replied <br />they was no other way to do this and comply with the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Mr. Goertz noted the only way they could do this was to put in 6 -8 unit buildings, which <br />he did not think looked good. He stated he had already received a few interest calls <br />regarding this development. <br />The Board's general consensus was that this was a good proposal. Mr. Lyden <br />emphasized quality was a very important factor in this development. <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Rafferty made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 9:14 p.m. and was supported by <br />Mr. Hyden.
