A <br />Jeff Smyser <br />November 12, 2003 <br />PUBLIC HEARING: Amendment to Conditional <br />Use Permit For A Private Club <br />Circle -Lex VFW <br />7868 Lake Drive <br />The Circle -Lex VFW Post 6583 is interested in constructing a new building at their site <br />on the northeast comer of Lake Drive and Lois Lane. The site is guided and zoned for <br />this type of use. It is not within the MUSA: in order to connect to city utilities, it must <br />receive MUSA. The site has a conditional use permit (CUP) which will need to be <br />amended to allow the construction of the new building. The required site and building <br />plan review is an administrative review, but the review elements are relevant to the CUP. <br />The City approved a CUP amendment in April 1999 for the construction of an addition <br />onto the existing VFW building.
