• <br />• <br />• <br />Units with Individual Entrances <br />This guideline applies to townhouses and other products that have individual, private entrances <br />to each unit. Porches and stoops for such units may extend up to 6 feet into the setback. <br />Attached Products with Individual Entrances. All duplexes, townhouses, and other attached <br />products with individual street -level unit entrances must have a porch or a stoop. <br />Porch Dimensions. All porches must have a minimum depth of 6 feet clear. A porch must make <br />up a minimum of 30 percent of the width of a building's primary front or 10 feet clear, whichever <br />is larger. <br />Stoop Dimensions. Stoops must be proportionate to the scale of the entry. <br />n <br />II <br />n <br />A A <br />Entries Entries <br />Street Facing Entries. Where build -to lines govern, multi family homes shall have entries and windows <br />oriented to the street. <br />Attached Products with Shared Entries <br />Porches or stoops are required where entrances are shared by different units, such as at <br />apartment buildings. Porches may extend up to 10 feet into the front setback. <br />Buildings with 4 or Fewer Units. Shared entries must have a porch with a minimum 10 feet <br />width and a minimum 6 -foot depth. <br />Interior building lobbies must have generous windows facing the adjacent street or Commons. <br />Garages <br />Parking for Townhomes, and other Residences with Individual Unit and <br />Garage Entrances. <br />Residences with individual unit entrances must provide garaged parking as follows: <br />• Garages may be either attached to or detached from the primary residence. Underground <br />parking garages are preferred. Residences with individual units and garage entrances may <br />not have garage doors facing the street. <br />Parking for Attached Residences with Shared Unit and Garage Entrances. <br />Parking for attached residences with shared unit entrances, such as apartment buildings, shall be <br />provided in one of the following three ways.
