• <br />Memo <br />To: Jeff Smyser <br />CC: Michael Grochala <br />From: Marty Asleson <br />Date: August 5, 2004 <br />Re: Recommendations of the July 28, 2004 Environmental Board <br />Environmental <br />The Environmental Board met on July 28, 2004 and made the following <br />recommendations: <br />Fox Den Acres <br />Carried forward from March 28th Environmental Board review <br />• That the development be considered as a PUD and /or Conservation <br />Development that would allow for a variety in lot sizes and street widths. <br />• Suggest that the developer work with the Saddle Club site, or look at purchasing <br />the Saddle Club site, for developing with the Fox Den Acres site so that the two <br />sites could be developed concurrently. <br />• That the proposed NURP and infiltration ponds be evaluated for adequate <br />separation and infiltration to the seasonally high water table. <br />• That the developer works with staff to identify trees that can be saved in buffer <br />areas, and designated clear areas. <br />• That the development should allow for the creation of a greenway corridor from <br />the southwest, and East Side of the development proposal. <br />• That no soils should be imported or exported without city approval. <br />• Soil protection areas should be designated and fenced off. <br />• <br />
