Portable signs <br />shall be used a maximum of four (4) times a year for a total of fifteen (15) days per time. <br />Portable signs shall be limited to special events or promotion. A sign permit fee may be <br />established by the City Council that will reflect the cost of administration of this permit. <br />Possible Regulation: <br />Might want to expand definition to include any sign which is not permanently attached to the <br />ground or to another permanent structure; including, but not limited to, temporarily placed <br />signs designed to be transported by means of wheels; signs converted to A or T frames; <br />movable menu and sandwich board signs; tethered balloons used as signs; and signs attached <br />to or painted on a vehicle or trailer which is parked and visible from the public right -of -way, <br />unless the vehicle is used in the normal day -to -day operations of the business. <br />Notes: <br />
