� Incidental Sign <br />• <br />• <br />Definition: <br />A sign, generally informational, that has a purpose secondary to the use of the lot on <br />which it is located, such as "no parking" "entrance ", "loading only ", "warning ", "no <br />trespassing" and "telephone /restroom" signs; directory signs and drive - through menu <br />boards; and other similar directive or identifying messages. <br />Photograph/Examples: <br />Current Code Restrictions: <br />State statutes regulate the placement of "No Trespassing" Signs, but they <br />can be included in this category as long as they are allowed in accordance <br />with State Statute 97B.001. <br />Possible Regulation: <br />Make sure the `incidental' nature of these signs is protected by limiting the <br />use of logos as part of the signs in commercial and industrial zones or even <br />institutional uses such as churches. <br />Notes: <br />
