This is not a <br />typical rezoning. The zoning contract defines the specific use for the site. The intent is <br />to provide for an economic use of the site, eliminate undesirable uses, and avoid uses that <br />would be allowed under the new zoning district but are inappropriate for the site. <br />Mr. Bruce Hanson would like to purchase the site from Mr. Bob Salmen. Mr Hanson <br />would like to move his vehicle wholesale business onto the site. There are a number of <br />difficulties in addressing the situation. In cooperation with the City Attorney, we have <br />worked out a zoning contract that addresses the issues. The conditional use permit <br />parallels the zoning contract. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Comprehensive Plan, Land Use, Zoning <br />The site is within the existing MUSA and the Stage 1 growth area (pre - 2010).
