• <br />• <br />Recommendations <br />Lino Lakes Environmental Board <br />August 31, 2005 <br />Legacy at Woods Edge <br />Lakewood Apartments: <br />Plant Schedule: Crimson King maple should be changed to a species that is a <br />bit more zone appropriate and non - invasive. Suggest changing this species to <br />one of the following -- Northern Pin Oak, Red Oak, Bur Oak, Autumn Blaze <br />Maple, Hackberry, American Linden, and Green Ash. Suggest changing the <br />Colorado Blue Spruce to White Spruce or Norway Spruce. <br />Caution and care should be taken to ensure vehicular sit -lines are not obstructed. <br />Trees should be at least 30 feet from street corners. Eastem Red Cedars <br />proposed for the NE corner of the building may be too close. <br />Sod areas must be shown as irrigated. All top soils should be described as <br />incorporated into the sub soil for several inches. <br />Erosion Control <br />The developer should submit an erosion control plan that details NPDES <br />requirements and is acceptable to the City. The plan and inspections reports for <br />• this plan must be located on site with an indicated location on the plan. <br />Recycling <br />There should be a plan for organized recycling within the apartment building. <br />Developer should work with staff on landscaping. <br />Work with a waste service provider to make sure the plan is functional. <br />Encourage a recycling plan. <br />Motion by Kukonen, second by O'Connell to recommend approval with staff and <br />Environmental Board comments and recommendations. All were in favor. <br />Motion was approved. <br />
