• <br />• <br />Roads <br />Hodgson Road (CSAH 49) is an arterial road that runs from Lino Lakes south into central <br />St. Paul. County Road J, (CSAH 1, CSAH 32 or Ash Street), is an arterial running across <br />much of Anoka County, from State Trunk Highway 65 on the west to I -35E on the east. <br />Co. Rd. J forms the boundary between Lino Lakes and Shoreview. It also is the <br />boundary of Anoka County and Ramsey County, which share responsibilities for CR J. <br />Existing Land Uses <br />The study area includes a variety of residential and commercial uses. A garden center, <br />used auto lot, and auto repair business line the east side of Hodgson Rd. The auto sales <br />business owner has acquired a five -acre lot immediately east of the existing sales lot. On <br />the periphery of the study area, several single family homes exist on large, rural lots <br />without water or sanitary sewer services. <br />A closed bar /restaurant sits on the corner of Hodgson Rd. and CRJ. North of that is an <br />insurance office and a liquor store in separate buildings. A 17 -acre parcel north of those <br />lines the west side of Hodgson. <br />Several existing neighborhoods border the study area: Woodridge Estates and Blomquist <br />Addition to the west, Rohavic Oaks to the north, as well as the homes south of CR J in <br />Shoreview. <br />IPThe figures below show these uses. <br />DRAFT December 8, 2005 Hodgson/CR J Master Plan page 5 <br />
