PHOJECT NAME <br />GRADING, DRAINAGE & EROSION CONTROL PLAN <br />City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota <br />GENERAL NOTES <br />The information shown on these drawings concerning type and location of <br />cxist'mg utilities is not guaranteed to be a curote or all inclusive. The <br />contractor is responsible for making his own determination os to type and <br />location of utIities os necessary to ovoid damage to these utilities. <br />Contact Gopher State One -Coll of (651) 454 -0002 for existing utility <br />locations. <br />All work done shall be in accordance with the City's General Specifications <br />s <br />and Standard Detail Plate <br />Notify City 0 minimum of 48 hours prior to the commencement of <br />construction. <br />GRADING & EROSION CONTROL NOTES <br />Prior to any grading operations, the contractor shall install a rock <br />construction entrance at all locations where construction vehicles enter onto <br />public roads and perimeter slit fence as shown on plan. (Contact City to <br />inspect erosion control measures prior to grading operations, If necessary.) <br />Additional silt fence may be necessary if 10001 conditions require <br />Perform site grading on an oreo -by -area basis to minimize uncompleted <br />areas As each area c ompleted, all exposed soils must hove temporary <br />erosion control protection or permanent cover within 7 days. <br />All debris treated in the prowess of clearing and grading the site shall be <br />removed from the sits This includes trees, shrubs, miscellaneous debris and <br />existing buildings, including footings. Under n o circumstances shall this type <br />of material be buried or burned on the site. <br />The Owner and Contractor Al oversee and be responsible for era s i n control <br />measures f <br />-site until nol stabilization has been achieved. The Contractor <br />and Owner shall make available to the City and Watershed a fist of contacts <br />to be notified if repairs and /or maintenance to site erosion contrd <br />measures are required. <br />All BMPS must be mointoined with proper function until all site work has <br />been completed and site has undergone final stabilization. <br />Contractor to provide designated concrete truck washout oreo with <br />appropriate signage. Washout oreo is to be a minimum of 50' from storm <br />drams, ditches, ponds, or other stormwoter features. All liquid and sol16 <br />waste generoted by concrete washout operations must be contained in a <br />leok -proof containment facility or impermeable liner (e.g. composted cloy <br />liner, impermeable geo-membrane). After waste concrete Is set, break -up <br />and dispose of properly. <br />Contractor to provide topsoil stockpiles at location designated by ow <br />Stockpiles must be kept at least 25 -feet from any rood, drainage channel <br />or storm sewer Mlet Stockpiles left for more than 7 days must be <br />stabilized with mulch, vegetation, tarps, or other approved means_ <br />Stockpiles left for less than 7 days must be controlled with silt fence or <br />other approved means <br />Any sediment reaching o public or private rood shall be removed by street <br />cleaning (not flushing) before the end of each work cloy <br />After poving, street sweeping and scraping is required for proposed porking <br />lot 006 for any Crocked sediment onto adjacent streets.
