•
•
•
- Planning & Zoning Board
October 9, 2013
Page 3
- The city should allow more flexibility for temporary signs.
- The city needs a mechanism to make enforcement easier, such as stickers on temp
signs.
Consider increasing the numbers of days for temporary signs from 17 days per
quarter to 90 days per year.
Consider allowing off -site temporary signage for commercial/industrial properties.
Only one (1) temporary sign would be allowed per parcel except multi -tenant
buildings may be allowed up to three (3) temporary signs. Off -site temporary signage
would count against the property's 90 day limit.
Board members agreed that the city should allow wall signage on all walls facing a street,
not limited to a total of two.
Sergei Nazaranka, Eagle Liquor, Apollo Drive, tad the board for recommending the
changes and feels that everyone will benefit.
C. Project Updates
Katie Larsen, City Planner, provided an update of current city projects.
7. ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Nelson made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 8:25 p.m. Motion was supported
by Mr. Masonick. Motion carried 4 - 0.
