• <br />AGENDA ITEM 5.A. <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Paul Bengtson <br />P &Z MEETING DATE: January 9, 2008 <br />TOPIC: Public Hearing: Vaughan's 1st Addition <br />Rezoning to R -1X (Single Family Executive) <br />Variance to Shoreland Ordinance's OHWL setback <br />Preliminary Plat <br />BACKGROUND <br />Ed Vaughan has requested approval of a 1 lot residential subdivision to be known as Vaughan's <br />1St Addition. The subject site was previously approved for the Pheasant Hills Preserve No. 12 <br />project which was not constructed and the approval has expired. <br />The project was on the December 12, 2007 regular meeting agenda, and the public hearing was <br />opened and continued to this meeting. The developer has submitted revised plans which are the <br />basis for this review. <br />The comments received by staff at the public hearing and previously by direct contact with <br />neighbors have mostly focused on the possibility that two lots would be built at the end of <br />Ruffed Grouse Road.
