which directs attention to an object, product, place, activity, person, institution, <br />organization or business. <br />Advertising Sign: An "Advertising Sign" is a sign which directs attention to a <br />business, commodity, service or entertainment not exclusively related to the <br />premises where such a sign is located or to which it is affixed. See Section IVVI <br />General Regulations. <br />G, Business Sin A "Business Sign" is any sign which identifies a business or group <br />including entertainment, offered or sold upon the premises where such sign is <br />located. <br />H. Related Definitions: <br />4, Illuminated Sign: A sign which has artificial light source directed upon it or <br />which has an interior light source. See Section IVVI General Regulations. <br />• Motion Sign: A sign which revolves, rotates or moves. <br />• Sign Area: The entire area within a single continuous perimeter enclosing <br />the extreme limits of the actual sign surface, but excluding any structural or <br />supporting elements such as uprights, aprons, poles, beams or standards. <br />Sign Height: Height shall be measured from grade to the uppermost points <br />or level of sign surface. <br />• Flashing Sign: An illuminated sign on which such illumination is not kept <br />Sect-ion-ANT General Regulations. <br />6: Direction Signs: A sign erected on private property for the following uses: <br />Church, school, hospital, club, library, civic er other similar types, <br />address. <br />7, Area Identification Sign: A free standing sign or pylon which identifies the <br />businesses. <br />S.
