ACTION ITEMS <br />A. PUBLIC HEARING to consider Amending the Zoning Ordinance to modify the <br />requirements for Accessory Buildings and Structures. <br />Associate Planner, Paul Bengtson, presented the staff report. <br />Mr. Pogalz arrived at 6:38 p.m. <br />Staff recommended approval of the Zoning Ordinance amendment. <br />Staff further explained the reasoning behind the mathematical calculations included in the <br />proposed ordinance. <br />Chair Tralle opened the Public Hearing at 6:59 <br />No one was present to speak on the item. <br />Mr. Hyden made a MOTION to close, e public Hearing at 7:00 >p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Pogalz. Motion passed <br />Mr. Hyden made a MOTION to recommend approval Amending the Zoning <br />Ordinance to modify the requirements for Accessory Buildings and Structures. PUBLIC HEARING to consider Amending the Zoning Ordinance and the <br />subdivision chapter of the City Code regarding development in <br />environmentally sensitive areas, tree preservation, landscaping, planned unit <br />developments, and platting. <br />City Planner, Jeff Smyser, presented the staff report. <br />Staff recommended that the board open the public hearing, discuss proposed <br />amendments, and continue the public hearing to June 9. <br />Chair Tralle opened the Public Hearing at 7:12 p.m. <br />Ciara Schlichting. Bonestroo, presented an overview of the draft ordinance language. <br />Katherine Lamers, Bonestroo, Landscape Architect, was present for questions. <br />Mr. Pogalz made a MOTION to recommend continuation of the Public Hearing to the <br />June 9, 2010 Planning & Zoning Board Meeting.
