• <br />• <br />• <br />Memorandum <br />DATE: February 2, 2000 <br />TO: Jeff Smyser, City Planner <br />FROM: John Powell, City Enginee <br />RE: Highland Meadows Townho es <br />Review of Preliminary Plan <br />In addition to the comments we have provided previously with regard to the Highland <br />Meadows plat, please note the following: <br />1. The minimum pipe size for storm sewer is 15 -inch. <br />2. The minimum pipe size for watermain is 8 -inch. <br />3. The drawing scale shown in the legend on sheets 3 and 4 are incorrect. The correct scale <br />should illustrate a 1 " =60' scale. <br />4. Gate valves need to be shown on the proposed water main. Valves shall be placed <br />throughout the distribution system so that each portion may be isolated with the least <br />interruption of service. Generally, place valves at each roadway intersection or <br />intersection of water mains. <br />If you have any questions, please let me know. <br />
