He explained how an open space management plan could be useful to the <br />City in development considerations. <br />Mr. Johnson stated he sees this program as working with certain DNR staff people who <br />have expertise in areas of nature and who will provide an additional prospective on <br />different approaches, similar to the City's Environmental Board. <br />Mr. Smyser stated that is his impression as well and he thinks the DNR will benefit by <br />learning what is being done in Lino Lakes. <br />Ms. Lane stated she saw a presentation on Smart Growth and noted it is a way to prevent <br />urban sprawl. <br />Mr. Schilling asked if the City will receive the full attention of the DNR if Lino Lakes <br />does not participate in their entire program.
