Planning & Zoning Representative to Community Service Award <br />Nominating Committee <br />Staff explained the Community Service Award is designed to recognize individuals who <br />have made a significant contribution(s) to the community. The City Council has asked <br />the Planning & Zoning Board to appoint a representative. <br />Mr. Rafferty volunteered to serve as the representative and Ms. Lane volunteered to serve <br />as the alternate. <br />Mr. Johnson made a MOTION to appoint Mr. Rafferty as the representative and Ms. Lane <br />as the alternate to represent the Planning & Zoning Board on the Community Service <br />Award Nominating Committee, and was supported by Mr. Corson. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />B. State Planning Conference <br />Mr. Smyser presented details of the upcoming �e Plan w _ Conference which will <br />include the 2000 Upper Midwest Regional P1 �� onference to be held September 20- <br />22, 2000, in Duluth, Minnesota. He advise that °. ning Commissioners can attend and <br />encouraged participation. <br />C. EDAC Update <br />Mr. Johnson advised the ED <br />Development Standards, wi <br />recommendation. <br />VII.
