Parking Dimensions <br />Standard parking space dimensions shall have a <br />length of 19 feet, which includes a two -foot <br />overhang, which may be planted, and width of <br />9.0 feet. For other dimensions associated with <br />parking lots, see the accompanying diagrams. <br />Landscaped Frontages <br />Where parking lots abut streets, a Landscaped <br />Frontage shall be provided on the parcel, adjacent <br />to the sidewalk. Landscaped Frontages are also <br />required where parking lots abut Lake Drive. The <br />landscaping shall meet the requirements outlined <br />in Landscaped Frontages below. Landscaped <br />Frontages are not required when parking lots are <br />sited behind buildings or plazas. <br />Connecting Walkways <br />Linking Building Entrances to Sidewalks. <br />Where building entries do not abut a street, <br />Connecting Walkways are required to link the <br />building entrance to street sidewalks. This <br />configuration is most likely for large anchor store <br />tenants who require parking lots in front of <br />building entrances. <br />See Connecting Walkways in the section on <br />Landscape Requirements for further guidance. <br />Landscaped Connecting Walkways. Landscaped <br />connecting walkways are required in large parking lots and to <br />connect buildings set behind parking lots to streets.
